Draft Bylaws for Review!

In accordance with Virginia PTA requirements, all local PTA’s must re-submit their PTA Bylaws for review and approval by the Virginia PTA every five (5) years.
The RCMS PTA Bylaws will expire this summer and are due to be reviewed and approved this year. As part of the Bylaw renewal process, Draft RCMS PTA Bylaws must be presented to the general membership for review a minimum of 30 days prior to voting on the Bylaws.  This announcement serves as the presentation of the Draft RCMS PTA Bylaws to meet the 30 day requirement.  The Draft RCMS PTA Bylaws will be voted on at the general membership meeting on April 26 at 6:30 p.m.

Changes to the Bylaws consist of:
1.  General language revised throughout as required by the Virginia PTA Bylaws template.
2.  Minor changes to the PTA Officer Titles in Articles 5 and 6.

If you have comments or questions regarding the Draft RCMS PTA Bylaws, please contact the PTA Secretary at rcmspta.secretary@gmail.com
Plan to attend the PTA Meeting on April 26, 6:30 p.m. to vote on the revised bylaws!
