The RCMS PTA Executive Board is responsible for developing a proposed annual budget to present to the PTA Membership for vote.
PTA Members normally vote on the proposed budget at the first PTA General Meeting of the School Year.

2017-2018 Annual Budget

In accordance with Article IX of the RCMS PTA Bylaws, the PTA Treasurer is responsible for preparing and presenting written financial statements (Treasurer’s Reports) at every PTA Meeting or as requested by the PTA Executive Board.  Monthly and End-of-Year Financial Reports are available at PTA General Meetings.

audit In accordance with Article VI of the RCMS PTA Bylaws, the PTA financial records and accounts must be examined by a auditing committee or professional auditor selected by the PTA Executive Board at the close of each fiscal year or upon the resignation of the PTA Treasurer.  The auditing committee shall consists of no fewer than three (3) PTA members, none of which may have signature authority for the PTA.  Audit Reports are presented at the first PTA Meeting following the completion of the audit for adoption by the PTA Membership.  Audit Reports are submitted to the Virginia PTA within 30 days followinig adoption by the PTA Membership.

The 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Audit Report will be presented to the PTA Membership at the PTA Meeting on September 28, 2017.
